Hello!

​My name is Amelia Troutman and I am a Senior at Louisiana State University majoring in Textile, apparel design, and merchandising with a focus on fashion merchandising in the College of Agriculture.

I was five years old when I hosted my first fashion show. It consisted of mismatching princess costumes and oversized shoes from my mom’s closet, but it’s one of my most fond childhood memories. I knew from a young age that I had a deep love for fashion, but it wasn’t until high school that I really began to examine the influence it has on my life and the trajectory it would set for my dreams. I am on the path of education at LSU to learn absolutely everything I can about the fashion industry.
