Skatie swimwear is a sustainable bathing suit brand that focuses on creating ethically made swimwear. Based in Venice the swimwear is inspired by the "California cool-girl vibe." All their fabric is locally sourced and manufactured using surplus and upcycled fabrics. The company was started by two women skate and mandi when they attended the Fashion Institute of technology together. They built the brand from the ground up focusing on making a brand that's healthy for the environment while still being affordable and making customers look cute and comfortable.

Do Good

Do Good swimwear is a small minority and women-owned swimwear brand that supports eco-friendly and ethical practices and provides affordable, sustainable, and ethically made swimsuits made to last for seasons to come! The idea for the brand's creation originated on a surfing trip where the women found themselves picking up discarded plastic on the beach and wanted to create a company that could help make a difference. Each swimsuit is made out of recycled material using ocean waste, such as fishnets, plastic bottles, or old nylons, then upcycled into a beautiful, soft, and comfortable material- perfect for swimsuits! To make things even better a portion of the profits are donated to ocean conservation efforts!

Arrow + Pheonix

Laina Rauma always had a love for fashion and the water from a young age which brought her to eventually create the brand Arrow + Pheonix. Arrow + Pheonix is a size-inclusive, ethically sourced, and sustainably made brand that empowers women of all shapes and sizes to embrace their natural bodies at the beach. Each bikini is not only made from recycled materials but also mailed in it. The bikinis are also made to order in an effort to cut down on overconsumption and product waste. Not to mention Rauma is from New Orleans!

Londre

Originated in Sayulita, Mexico cofounders Ainsley Rose and Hannah Todd were inspired to create the most flattering, high-quality garments with the lowest possible impact. Since then, Londre has recycled over 750,000 plastic bottles off of beaches and streets into their sustainable offerings with a minimum of 6 recycled plastic bottles in every swimsuit. . The brand works to create a quantifiable change for women and the environment.
