What can we expect for our New Year wardrobe?

With 2021 coming to an end, it's time to look into what can we expect from new year trends and 2022 certainly does not disappoint! The revival of old trends has created an exciting and fresh outlook for the fashion world. From New York to London; Milan to Paris —Designers are stepping up this season taking this season's clothes to a whole other level. Here's to a New Year and here's a look at 2022 fashion!

Feather

According to designers like Christian Siriano, feather is back. The designer kicked off New York Fashion Week with his show featuring beautiful feather-trimmed pieces. The fun and whimsy texture elevates any outfit. Off the runway, feathers are seen trimming the edge of sleeves and pants as necklines dresses, and skirts.

Bubble Hems

Bubble hem skirts and dresses are probably my favorite predicted trend of the new year. Though they haven’t always been the most stylish, designers have taken a modern spin on them to create a chic new look. The round silhouette gives a girlish and feminine feel to any outfit.

Vests

The Canadian tuxedo vest has been a long-standing trend, and with the new year upon us, a much-needed restyle of the piece has been seen on the streets and runway The vest has been paired with lowrise pants and mini skirts to create a y2k inspired look.

Chandelier earrings

Don't tuck away your chandelier earring from New Year just yet because this glamorous will be worn all throughout 2022. This dazzling jewelry piece is perfect for a night on the town or really any formal or festive occasion.

Micro mini skirts

This year we are reliving our 2000s dreams with the revival of micro mini skirts. As Paris Hilton once said “skirts should be the size of a belt (preferably a bedazzled one); “Life's short. Take risks,” and she couldn’t be more correct!

Happy New Year to all!
