Summer couldn’t come fast enough! With the school year ending, it’s time for a fresh warm-weather wardrobe. I myself have lots of beach vacations and poolside days planned for a summer full of relaxation before my first semester of college. Whether you love to take a dive in the water or more your more of a sip margaritas and tan kind of girl, you’ll need lots of outfits and cute suites to sport this season. When searching for the perfect fit, who better to look to than everybody’s favorite fashion it-girls for inspiration. Here are 5 outfit ideas for your wardrobe modeled off of a few of my favorite fashion icons.

Suede Brooke's has been my top go-to outfit inspiration recently. Her unique, yet trendy style continuously catches my eye. This brightly patterned bikini and headband set is absolutely adorable and perfect for a day at the pool or a trip to the beach. Similarly, I have been seeing the stylish comeback of tankinis. Though the modest tankini is typically frowned upon, it has been seen in popular swimwear brands such as Ookioh and The Saltwater Collective. Whether in bikini or tankini style, the bright and spunky patterns are a must-have for your summer wardrobe.

Bella Hadid's beach outfit is totally cute and easy to recreate. Pair your favorite high-cut bikini (bonus points if it's thong style), along with oversized denim and a headscarf. Big Dad Jeans are inexpensive and easily accessible at your local thrift store. This way you don't have to splurge on jeans that you may only get a few wears out of. Tie the oversized jeans with a stylish string or a belt and allow the bikini to poke out above your hips. Don't forget your sneakers and tote bag. This trendy outfit is sure to make you look just as stylish as icon Bella herself!

I talked a little about these high neck dresses in my last post but I just can't get enough! This pink, high neck, backless dress worn by Amaka Hamelijnck is just lovely. The dress is flattering in both silhouettes and in color looking beautiful on everybody. The dress's solid color also allows for several styling options. Elevate your dress look by adding colorful jewelry, sunnies, a purse, shoes, a hat, or really anything, the possibilities are really endless! This dress is perfect for a day to night look, and easy to wear from sun up to sundown.

Speaking of sunsets, Francis Lola shared pictures of her beautiful dress and hat combo. The monochromatic white and nude look screams beach babe! When picking a dress for the sand, definitely consider Lola’s lace and ruffle combo. Everything from the color scheme, to the corset style top, and white ruffle trim is perfect for a beach sunset. Keeping up with the neutrals add a straw hat and purse to finish off the look.

When the sun has set and it's time for your beachside dinner, refer to icon Kendall Jenner's beige maxi dress for a more elegant day to nightdress. The dress can be worn casually with sandals and a sun hat or switched out the shoes for a clear heel and ditch the hat for a dressier occasion. The neutral color and cutouts of the dress is ideal for a summer night. Gold is your best friend with the dress, as it compliments the tones of the dress.
